We have added a new genre to our studio sessions. It is called “Beauty and Boudoir Portraiture!” It is not just about capturing your outer beauty, as one would suspect. But we want to highlight your inner beauty as well. Your personality. Your loves. What things are important to you in this life.
So how would capture these beautiful aspects about you in a photograph? These special things about you come across in your mannerisms and especially your eyes. Most people can read the eyes. That’s where the secret is.
Also by choosing the types of clothing you would like to wear during your beauty session. You can be as “boudoir” or sexy as you want to be. Or perhaps not at all. It is up to you. This will be your day to be as you wish to be. Your photographer is most concerned with how you are feeling. I will ask if you are comfortable in your pose. Or, ask you to describe how you would like to come across in a certain shot. Feeling open enough to communicate honestly will be so helpful for both of us.
I always like to suggest that my beauty clients order the little black book which will hold all of your beautiful images in one place. Or, the linen photo box which holds 20 of your favorite poses. Your images come as matted 5×7’s. This comes with a small easel to display a different image everyday.
